ASUS ROG Strix Impact III

For what this mouse costs it over-delivers. Reliable, responsive, good DPI range that covers both everyday use and gaming sessions without having to mess around too much with settings. It just works, consistently. The plastic has a rugged, textured feel to it that some people might not expect from a gaming mouse at this tier, but it actually grows on you. It feels grippy and durable rather than the glossy finish that attracts fingerprints and feels cheap after a few months of use. The battery situation is worth talking about because it's a bit different from most wireless mice on the market today. This one runs on AA or AAA cells rather than a built-in rechargeable battery, and honestly that's not the dealbreaker it might sound like. If your setup means you're gaming for long uninterrupted sessions, having a spare battery to swap in ten seconds beats waiting for a charge. If you're more of a casual user who doesn't want to think about it, rechargeables work just as well. Having used both I can say there's a genuine case for each depending on how you work, and the flexibility is actually a plus once you stop comparing it to rechargeable mice and just use it on its own terms. Genuinely one of the better value wireless mice you can buy right now.
